OVER 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE STONE INDUSTRY
I started my apprenticeship within the Stone industry when I was 15 Working for a monumental masonry firm in the Forest of Dean, along with attending the City of Bath Stonemasonry College, where I qualified in level 1,2 & 3 City and Gilds Stonemasonry.
In 2008 I was individually selected to produce a Monument for the HMS Caledonia Artificers, which I installed at the National Memorial Arboretum. This was covered in the Natural Stone Specialist magazine issued in August 2008.
After relocating to Cornwall in 2009 and basing myself in the Newquay area, I began working on the restoration and conservation of listed buildings. Using my knowledge and masonry skills to bring these outstanding and beautiful pieces of architecture back to their formal glory, but not forgetting occasionally adding a modern twist.
I provide workmanship for both domestic and commercial markets. So if you’re in need of a new fireplace, memorial, an exterior restoration or any other skilled stone work, please get in touch.
